Pouteria gardneri "Sapotinha" Seeds

Sapotinha, also known as Pouteria Gardneri, is a scarce fruit belonging to the Sapotaceae family, and it is growing in a particular place; nativeindigenous to Paraguay, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Brazil, and Bolivia.

This fruit thrives in both full sun and dappled shade and is commonly found in the wild, growing on well-drained clay soils and moderately fertile soils. The fruit is typically harvested from the wild and consumed locally. It contains a single seed enveloped in a very sweet, juicy pulp similar to jaboticaba.

The Holy Grail.

I've been searching for Duguetia marcgraviana for FAR too long, and supplies are extremely limited. Taste is similar to my favorite fruit, Duguetia stenantha; but with more of a cantaloupe flavor and unique sugar apple qualities.

Fresh seeds, always checked by yours truly. Get yours today!
